Lost Diamond Engagement Ring Recovered from Trash
Losing a diamond engagement ring is really heartbreaking!!! Linda Bode was in tears when she couldn't find her wedding band and her family heirloom diamond engagement ring last month.
She thought it was lost forever. Thanks to the Colgate Recycling Center in New Brunswick, she got her precious things back.
The Old Bridge resident remembered she had tossed the jar they were soaking in into a recycling bin. Workers at the Colgate Recycling Center figured out which truck had hauled in the jar. They made a proper search through the trash and found them.
Middlesex County Improvement Authority recycling manager Ed Windas told The Star-Ledger of Newark it was natural for him to help.
“Once my wife too lost her diamond engagement ring” said Ed Windas. So he felt that he should help her out of distress.
